Charging devices for mobile and stationary applications
Chargers from A.S.T. are used as on-board chargers on locomotives or railway coaches. Charging-voltage controllers are used as field current controllers for DC generators for the charging of batteries on railway vehicles. In wind energy plants, the A.S.T. chargers are used in pitch systems for the supply of the energy storage.
